خدمة الدياكونية
الرسالة الاولي – يناير٢٠١٩
احبائي محبي خدمة الدياكونية
.اهنئكم بعيد ميلاد فادينا ومخلصنا الرب يسوع وبداية عام ميلادي جديد
ان من اهم بركات عيد الميلاد في حياتنا هو العطاء " لانه هكذا أحب الله العالم حتى بذل ابنه الوحيد لكي لا يهلك كل من يؤمن به بل تكون له الحياة الابدية" (يو ٣: ١٦) و كما نصلي فى تسبحة نصف الليل اليومية في ثىؤطوكية يوم الجمعة "هو اخذ الذي لنا وأعطانا الذي له نسبحه ونمجده ونزيده علوا
احبائي
اود ان أقدم لكم في السطور القليلة القادمة معني كلمة الدياكونيه كما جاءت في الكتاب المقدس
ذكر الكتاب المقدس ان كلمة دياكون (شماس) اي خادم اول ماذكر في سفر اعمال الرسل " فانتخبوا أيها الاخوة سبعة رجال منكم مشهودا لهم ومملؤين من الروح القدس وحكمة فنقيمهم على هذه الحاجة" (آع ٦: ٣
فكلمة دياكونية في اللغة اليونانية تعني الخدمة في وسط الآخرين ولها معني آخر هو عمل الرحمة.
الرب يسوع والدياكونية
شخص الرب يسوع هو أقرب معني يشرح خدمة الدياكونية والتي ذكُر عنه " لان ابن الانسان آيضاً لم يأتِ ليخُدم بل ليخِدم وليبذل نفسه فدية عن كثيرين" (مر ١٠: ٤٥)
وهنا في النص اليوناني كلمة دياكون جاءت بمعني انا في وسطكم كمن يخدم وايضا ذكرت بنفس المعني في انجيل معلمنا القديس لوقا اصحاح ٢٢ عدد ٢٧ " لان من هو أكبر؟ الذي يتكئ ام الذي يخدم؟ أليس الذي يتكئ؟ ولكني أنا بينكم كالذي يخدمُ"
ايبارشية لوس انجلوس والدياكونية
رأت الايبارشية وبتشجيع وقيادة نيافة الحبر الجليل الانبا سرابيون مطران لوس انجلوس ان هناك قطاعات من الخدمة في الايبارشية لابد من التركيز على خدمتها فأنشئت قطاع الدياكونية ومن الخدمات التي يخدمها قسم الدياكونية:
١-خدمة المسنين
٢-خدمة القادمين الجدد
٣-خدمة الشباب الناطق باللغة العربية
٤-خدمة مكافحة الادمان
٥-خدمة السجون
"Foster Care"٦-خدمة الملآجي او مايعرف بال
٧- خدمة المرضي
وسنوالي في الرسائل القادمة شرح كل خدمة بالتفاصيل على حدة.
وأدعوكم الي المشاركة في قطاعات الخدمة الدياكونية سواء باقتراحانكم او مشاركتم الفعالة باختيار إحدى الخدمات والمشاركة سواء بالخدمة الفعلية بها او بتعضيدكم المالي لأحدي هذه الخدمات.
فكل خدمة لها لجنة من اباء كهنة وخدام مباركين يخدمون ومسئولون عن هذه الخدمات المتنوعة في كنائسهم او على مستوي جغرافي يجمع مجموعة من الكنائس في خدمة واحدة بتعاون وتنسيق بين كنائس الايبارشية.

The Diakonia Ministry
First Message- January 2019
Our beloved friends of the Diakonia Ministry
Wishing you all a blessed Nativity feast and a Happy New year.
One of the blessings of the Nativity in our life is giving “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16)
And as we pray in the midnight praise on the Friday Theotokia “He took what is ours: and Gave us what is His: we praise Him and glorify Him: and exalt Him above all”
My beloved
I would like to explain to you the meaning of the word “Diakonia” as it was mentioned in the Holy bible.
The word Diakonia that was mentioned in the Holy Bible meant a servant (deacon) in the book of Acts it said “Therefore, brethren seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business” (Acts 6:3). And in Greek Diakonia means the service among others and in another meaning it is the act of mercy.
Our Lord Jesus and the Diakonia
Our Lord Jesus is the clear meaning of Diakonia “for even the son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45)
In the Greek text the word Diakonia came by the meaning of
“I am among you as the One who serves”, also it was mentioned by that same meaning in the gospel of Saint Luke 22 : 27 “For who is the greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yes, I am among you as the One who serves”
Diocese of Los Angeles and the Diakonia
With all support and encouragement of H.E Metropolitan Serapion of Los Angeles, Southern California & Hawaii, the Diocese established the Diakonia Department to focus on the following services:
- Seniors Ministry.
- New comers Ministry.
- Arabic Youth Ministry.
- Addiction Ministry.
- Foster Care ministry.
- Prison Ministry.
- True Physician (sick people) Ministry.
In the following messages we will explain each ministry separately.
