True Physician Ministry

Vision and Goal of True Physician Ministry (TPM).

Guided by the vision of the Diocese of Los Angeles, “Presenting everyone perfect in Christ”, True Physician Ministry AKA TPM is focused on training our servants to help in their own churches all over the diocese in serving the sick.

Why do we serve them?

According to Matt 25, visiting the Sick is considered visiting the Lord Jesus Christ himself that would lead to inheriting the kingdom of God.

The diocese patterned with local Coptic orthodox churches to carry out this ministry of transformation and hope.

Healing Ministry

Healing is the Act of the Holy Spirit invested through the Church throws the mystery of the Unction of the Sick. Healing of Soul and Body are two sides of the healing acts done by the Lord Jesus Christ. He would heal people Spiritually by forgiving their sins and then heal then physically. Like wise this this HM following the path of the Lord Jesus Christ in healing. Servants or volunteers in this service would work one-2-one with the sick and would call the clergy to perform the Pastoral Healing (Confession & Communion.

“Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.” Jeremiah 33:6 NKJV

“And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.” Matthew 4:23 NKJV

Visitations are essential in this service alongside all other kinds of Media communication. Training volunteers will involve training on proper visitations and communication Skills needed for the success of this service.
