What We Do

Established under the auspices of our beloved Metropolitan Abba Serapion and the leadership of our beloved Bishop Abba Abraham, the Diakonia and Development Department exists to serve our diocese across the following ministries:

  7. True Physician Ministry (Healthcare Outreach)

This department is the compassionate arm of the diocese, reaching individuals at every stage of life—regardless of language or gender—through and within the Coptic Orthodox community, striving to "present everyone perfect in Christ."

It embodies the Orthodox understanding of God's love for humanity.
It is the ministry of washing the feet of our neighbors.
It is the call to: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
