Welcome to Our Foster Care Ministry

Under the guidance of Metropolitan Serapion and Bishop Abraham, Good Shepherd Family Services trains, certifies, and supports foster families—bringing hope and stability to children in crisis.

What We Do

  • Family Training & Certification
    Thorough preparation in trauma-informed care, child development, and spiritual nurturing.

  • Child Placement
    Partnering with Child Protective Services in Orange, Riverside, and surrounding counties to find loving homes.

  • Ongoing Support
    Regular home visits, 24/7 on-call caseworkers, peer support groups, and respite care.

  • Reunification & Permanency Planning
    Working alongside biological families, courts, and social workers to determine the best long-term plan for every child.
